One of the most underrated results coming from this year’s BET Awards was the fact that Nicki Minaj won her seventh straight Female Hip Hop Artist of the Year Award.

To that note, Remy Ma, who was also up for the award, congratulated Minaj over Twitter. “Congrats to @NICKIMINAJ for your BET female rapper of the year 2016 award,” she tweeted last night (June 27), accompanied by a kissing face emoji. Nicki then returned pleasantries, “Omg. Thank u Remy,” she replied via the social media site. “That means so much. Congrats to u as well, for an exciting year.”

Nicki and Remy’s most recent back-and-forth may come as a surprise to some. Almost a year ago the Bronx rapper fired a few shots at Minaj during a freestyle called “Poppin.” Prior to that the two had disagreements dating all the way back to Remy’s stay in prison.
