Jay Z Might Be Crafting His Own Response to 'LEMONADE'
According to reports, Jay Z is mixing up his own lemonade with a new album. “Jay is working on an album telling his side of things," an anonymous source told Us Weekly. Tabloid speculation is expected and common, but this rumor doesn’t seem far-fetched. Beyoncé seemingly aired the couple’s dirty laundry on her visual album LEMONADE and shocked fans with many shots fired at her husband, including the closing line of “Don’t Hurt Yourself:” “This is your final warning/You know I give you life/If you try this s**t again/You gon’ lose your wife.”
The Carters aren’t typically known for sharing intimate details of their lives together, but when a woman’s fed up, anything is liable to happen. LEMONADE showed her side of dealing with the rumored infidelity and finding solace. From throwing middle fingers up with “Sorry” to releasing emotions with “Love Drought,” the album’s story ends with redemption. Immediately after the visual aired, social media dragged Jay Z in a plethora of creative ways, including stating the fact that he might’ve found his “100th problem.”
Hov fans have been waiting for a follow-up to his 2013 album Magna Carta Holy Grail and now is his chance for a dope comeback.
