Remembering Robin Gibb

Music lost a legend when the former Bee Gee passed away.

The Big Bust - The Bee Gees took their rebounding careers — and disco — to new stratospheric heights with the classic soundtrack to the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever, which sold tens of millions of records worldwide and produced a whopping six No. 1 singles, including their signature hit "Stayin' Alive." Keeping On - Robin and his brothers continued releasing music as a group and as solo artists throughout the '80s and '90s, and also saw big success writing for other artists, including Barbara Streisand, Dionne Warwick and Diana Ross.   (Photo: PA PHOTOS/Landov)
Respect Due - The Bee Gees were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. With career record sales of over 220 million, it was a no-brainer.  (Photo: KMazur/WireImage/Getty Images)
Rest in Peace - On May 20, 2012, Robin Gibb passed away from kidney and liver failure after a two-year-long struggle with a series of health problems, including colorectal cancer. Though he'll be missed, his timeless music will keep his memory alive for generations to come.(Photo: EPA/JACEK TURCZYK/Landov)
