Prince Won't Talk to Dick Clark (1980) - Can you call it an interview if the subject refuses to talk? That's what Dick Clark found himself dealing with when he tried to converse with a then up-and-coming Prince on American Bandstand. It was the purple one's first national moment, and he met it with total indifference. Perhaps it had something to do with Clark's post-performance comment: "This is not the kind of music that comes from Minneapolis, Minnesota."(Photo: Courtesy VH1)

Mike Tyson Unleashes on Nathan Downer (2014) - The controversial heavyweight champ unleashed a tirade of swear words on CP24 host Nathan Downer during an interview in 2014. Tyson then said, "It's so interesting that you come across like a nice guy but you're really a piece of s**t." (Photo: CP24)

Joan Rivers Storms Out on Fredricka Whitfield (2014) - Nobody was more surprised by the way this interview went down than the CNN anchor, whose now-famous interview with the comedy icon went viral after Rivers got so angry at what she called Whitfield's "negative" questions that she stormed off the set. Whitfield said it was a classic case of the “hypocrisy of a comedian who dishes it but didn’t take it.” The interview was one of Rivers's last before she died. (Photo: CNN)

Chris Brown Goes Berserk on Robin Roberts (2011) - Can Breezy live? The singer lost his ish on the Good Morning America host during an appearance to promote his album F.A.M.E. But rather than talk about the music, Roberts seemed intent on dredging up his past — in particular, the incident with his ex Rihanna. On camera, Brown said, "This album is what I want people to hear and people to really get into, so definitely this album is what I want them to talk about and not stuff that happened two years ago." Later, he tore apart his dressing room. (Photo: ABC via Youtube)

Tom Cruise Jumps on Oprah's Couch (2005) - When the megastar jumped on Oprah’s couch and declared his love for Katie Holmes, it was one of the most-watched moments in daytime television and simultaneously damaged Cruise's career and made him one of the Internet's very first viral memes. We're pretty sure Cruise can't sit on a sofa without cringing to this day. (Photo: Harpo Inc.)

Oprah Interviews Bobbi Kristina (2012) - Three years after her historic sit-down with Whitney Houston, Oprah Winfrey was the only person to get face time with the late singer's only child, Bobbi Kristina. The intense interview was clearly cathartic for the grieving music scion, but sadly couldn't stave off her demons entirely. Bobbi Kristina passed away three years later after battling for her life while in a coma.(Photo: Courtesy CBS)

Barbara Walters Interviews Mike Tyson and Robin Givens (1988) - This famously (and uncomfortably) candid interview ended in divorce for the prize fighter and his wife. In 2010, Tyson confessed on The View that he felt "Shanghai'ed" and "bushwacked" by both Walters and Givens, who revealed that her abusive marriage to Tyson was "torture, pure hell, worse than anything I could possibly imagine."(Photo: Courtesy ABC)

Diane Sawyer Interviews Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley (1995) - 60 million people tuned in for Sawyer's "no holds barred" chat with Jackson and his new bride, Lisa Marie. Timed to the release of Jackson's new HIStory album, it allowed him to turn the page on the child abuse charges that had plagued him for years, though Sawyer and ABC were criticized for being too soft on the embattled star. Wendy Williams Interviews Omarosa (2008) - Putting these two strong, fiery women in the same space was doomed from the minute Omarosa walked onto Williams's stage. What followed was the stuff reality producers dream of: biting comments, physical aggression and plenty of disses. "Omarosa is a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman," Williams later said.(Photo: AP Photo/"The Wendy Williams Show" FOX TV)

It could happen to anybody." (Photo: Courtesy ABC)

Cynthia McFadden Grills Tyra Banks (2009) - The former supermodel and ANTM boss was not smiling with her eyes at the Nightline host. McFadden got a taste of Tyra's testy side when she questioned her about firing judges Janice Dickinson and Paulina Porzikova from the hit show. Unlike revealing your natural hair or body weight, some things are off limits for prime time for the former supermodel.(Photo: Courtesy ABC)

Madonna Cusses Out David Letterman (1994) - Dropping more F-bombs than an episode of The Wire, Madonna lived up to her bad-girl reputation in Letterman's chair.
