Fantasia Barrino is about to become a mom for the third time, but also a first-time mommy with husband Kendall Taylor. The 36-year-old American Idol recently revealed the gender of their baby.
On Jan. 5, the Grammy nominee wrote on Instagram, “It’s A Girl.”

In November, Fantasia opened up about fertility issues, writing via Instagram, "God I want to thank you! You gave us a seed even when the doctor said that one of my tubes were closed you said different. @salute1st I love you king and I can't wait to see who he or she acts like.” 

Barrino has two children from previous relationships – Dallas Xavier, 8, and Zion Quari, 19. Taylor is dad to a son, Treyshaun.
