Michael B. Jordan And Halle Berry Tweet Support To Megan Thee Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion recently confirmed rumors that she was shot in the foot by Torey Lanez after a late night argument on July 12 in Los Angeles. Amid Megan's statement was the heartbreaking detail that she didn't call the cops on Lanez because "the police be killing us."
The comment led many to note the lack of support Megan has received from the hip hop community in light of her efforts to protect the Black man who assaulted her.
Now, Halle Berry and Michael B. Jordan are adding their voices to the chorus of support for Meg, hoping that other prominent people will do the same.
"Peace. Protection. Respect. For ALL Black Women. ALWAYS. @theestallion, we stand with you. F**k this sh**," Berry tweeted, while MBJ wrote, "Meg I admire your courage and applaud you for speaking up. We must Support Black Women, Protect Black Women, and Believe Black Women."
Meg retweeted both statements, showing that she appreciates the support with three blue hearts:
