Shay Johnson Gives Emotional Update After Car Crash Nearly Killed Her
Love & Hip Hop: Miami star Shay Johnson is thankful to see another day after being involved in a serious car accident just a few weeks ago.
Johnson, also known for appearing in VH1's Flavor of Love and Charm School, took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to share the details of the accident. She also showed in the post that she documented everything on video from the immediate aftermath of the crash to her being transported to the hospital.
"Thanking God for another day," she captioned the video. "Some weeks ago I was in a car accident. Both cars were totaled but I'm good. I've never been in an accident before so I was shook. Took me a min to post this but as you can see this accident could have been [worse]."
Of everyone who was in the car at the time of the accident, Johnson said she was "the only one who went to the hospital."
"I was there forever but left with a concussion, cuts, arm sprung and bruises [but] NOTHING WAS BROKEN!!" she said.
The reality star also clarified that she was not driving the vehicle at the time of the collision — she was a passenger.
"Tomorrow is not promised peeps so stay prayed up and DRIVE SAFE," she wrote.
