Update:

Law enforcement sources recently shared with TMZ more details regarding Kim Porter's untimely death.

According to their account, she went to bed early on Wednesday night as she "wasn''t feeling well." When family members tried to wake her on Thursday, she was non-responsive. Soon after, a paramedic pronounced her dead, at her home.

While the exact cause of her death remains unknown, illegal drugs have been completely ruled out, and it was further reported that she was battling either the flu or pneumonia. She was reportedly experiencing symptoms for the last few days of her life and was being treated with Saline and vitamins. 

The authorities are also investigating a recent trip Porter took to Africa to determine if she could have contracted a disease while at the continent.

An autopsy and toxicology tests will be performed soon.

In some somber news, model and actress Kim Porter was found dead on Thursday at her Los Angeles home. She was 47.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that they received a call to Porter's Toluca Lake home at around 12 noon. 

As heard in the emergency dispatch audio, the call came in as a "patient in cardiac arrest."

The site further explained that insiders connected to Porter relayed that she had been suffering from pneumonia for "several weeks." The exact cause of her death remains a mystery, however.

Aside from her work as a model and actress, Porter was known mostly for dating entertainment mogul Diddy, off and on, for 13 years, beginning in 1994 and officially ending in 2007.

The couple shared three children together — twin girls Jessie James and D'Lila, 11; and Christian, 20. Porter also had a son, Quincy, 27, from a previous relationship with Al B. Sure.

In regards to her untimely death, Diddy's rep told the site, "Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time."
