It is being reported that Kim Kardashian-West is set to meet with White House officials on Wednesday to discuss prison reform.
According to CNN, the reality TV star was inspired to share her thoughts on the hot-button topic as she has been advocating for a pardon for low-level drug offender Alice Marie Johnson, who has served more than two decades in prison.
Kardashian-West is set to meet with officials, including senior adviser Jared Kushner, who has expressed an issue with prison reform, in the past.
Just earlier this month, the White House backed the First Step Act, which, according to the site, "would expand programs for prisoners and allow for more home confinement." It was approved by the House Judiciary Committee.
This visit will see the reality star follow in the footsteps of her controversial husband, Kanye West, who notoriously met with President Donald Trump back in 2016.
