That’s Bae: This Teen Found A Genius Way To Get Michael B. Jordan To Take Her To Prom

Why didn’t we think of this?

What if you could get your celebrity crush to be your prom date?

This obviously isn't the easiest task to pull off, but one Philadelphia teen made it happen, and we have to say, she's set a new standard for prom date strategies from here on out.

Audeva Agyeman, a super fan of Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan, really wanted the A-list actor to take her to her high school prom, but seeing as it was nearly impossible to achieve, she made it happen, without his permission.

Yep, she printed out a life-size cutout of the actor and took it with her to the dance. Take a look, below:

The 17-year-old told Essence that she loved the actor since his days on The Wire and described her pretty clever plan in detail.

"It took me an hour to choose the right picture of him from the Oscars in a suit that matched my dress, standing tall, big smile and staring straight so that it would look good in pictures," she said.

While she loves her some MBJ, she told the publication that he actually wasn't her first choice as she had an actual date lined up. However, he had to cancel at the last minute.

"Well, I asked my friend Tyler, and he couldn't come because of college stuff," she said. "My other friend Dillon was going with someone else, and everyone else said no because they thought it was weird to go to an all-girls school prom. So I decided, let me make a cardboard cutout because I'm always being unique, so I knew this would stand out."

And stand out she definitely did as her pictures quickly went viral, even landing her on The Shade Room's Instagram page:

Good job, Audeva. You're ahead of your time!
