Mo’Nique And Her Husband Drag Shonda Rhimes Into Their Latest Gripe With Hollywood

The two share a letter detailing Isaiah Washington's "Grey's Anatomy" firing.

Mo'Nique and her husband, Sidney Hicks, continue to stir the pot by exposing alleged secrets being held in Hollywood, and the subjects of their latest grievance are Isaiah Washington and Shonda Rhimes.

In their latest stream, the couple sought to prove that Washington, like Mo'Nique claims, was also undeservedly blackballed from Hollywood.

The two took to social media to share an email that they claim "fell into their hands" detailing an ABC attorney admitting to tarnishing Isaiah Washington's name prior to his firing from Grey's Anatomy.

Fans may recall the actor was axed from the show after he allegedly made some homophobic remarks about a fellow castmate.

"I knew we threw Isaiah Washington under the bus for Patrick Dempsey," he read from the letter before going on to elaborate on the author's pointing out directly that there were "misconceptions" made about Washington's work history due to "incorrect" information.

They went on to seemingly state that Washington, whom Mo'Nique worked with on the independent film Blackbird, had also been blackballed from Hollywood, under false pretenses.

Hicks went on to read that the author of the letter, who stated she has since been fired, claims that a false story was presented to Shonda Rhimes, Washington's former employer, on whose shows she works. She added that this has further tarnished her relationship with the accomplished director and producer.

This proved to be only the beginning of their extensive stream, which lasted for more than an hour.
