So Damn Extra: Here's Why Tyrese Wore All White To Court
Tyrese Gibson and his baby's mother have had a public feud over claims that he abused their 10-year-old daughter Shayla. The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services is involved and there was a court hearing yesterday. For some reason, Tyrese choose a particular outfit to wear to court.
TheBlast.com reports that the Fast & Furious actor wore all-white to court. Why? Allegedly he told his attorney, “I’m not wearing black today because it’s not a funeral.” So damn extra. In case you don't know, this is what Vivian Cash (played by Reese Witherspoon) said in the film Walk the Line when she attended her husband's funeral. Johnny Cash famously always wore black.
Norma Mitchell Gibson reportedly testified that Tyrese has a history of abuse. TheBlast.com claims, "Witnesses in the courtroom tell us the Fast and the Furious actor seemed calm and was mouthing 'I Love You' to his current wife, Samantha."
Shayla, Norma and Tyrese's daughter, was reportedly supposed to testify as well but didn't. However, everyone is due back in court today and it is possible she will testify.
Tyrese has denied the allegations.
