Jay Z And Kanye West Are Tweeting At Each Other Over That ‘Championships’ Verse
Yesterday (November 30), Jay-Z broke his year-long Twitter silence to explain what his verse meant on Meek Mill’s song “What’s Free.”
Reguarding the track, Hov said that he wasn’t taking shots against Kanye West, rather he meant that he doesn’t want to be “pit” against his “brothers.”
“The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album . Drake and Meek on there together,” he tweeted.
The bars in question?: “No red hat, don't Michael and Prince me and Ye / They separate you when you got Michael and Prince's DNA, uh / I ain't one of these house n****s you bought / My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours / My spou- (C'mon man) / My route better of course.”
Apparently, Kanye accepted Hov’s apology and replied on Twitter with a very interesting proposition. “Throne 2,” he tweeted alongside a shrugging emoji.
Twitter, of course, went wild
