Now that G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean is finally famous, he's got famous people problems to deal with- among them are legal issues. The 23 year old Detroit native recently pled guilty to a lesser charge in a sexual abuse case, reports XXLMag.com.
As previously reported, this past August Sean (born Sean Michael Anderson) and an associate Willie Antonio Hansbro were arrested and charged with third-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching and second-degree unlawful imprisonment after a female fan filed a complaint against the pair following a show in upstate New York.
"I am pleased to announce that after further investigation the Niagra County District Attorney's Office decided not to pursue any of the sexual misconduct allegations against Mr. Anderson," Scott Leemon, Big Sean's lawyer told XXL. "As a result in order to get this entire ordeal behind him Mr. Anderson agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful imprisonment with a $750 fine. Mr. Anderson regrets any misunderstandings that occurred that day and reiterates he did not engage in any time of sexual misconduct."
The Kanye West protege appeared in court today [October 26] to submit the plea which was accepted and was charged with a $750 fine.
Mr. Hansbro who's better known as Say It Ain't Tone, has also accepted the same plea deal.
