Lil Wayne Announces The Free Weezy Album
Birdman still doesn't want to release Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter V album or let the superstar walk away from Cash Money Records. So Weezy is handling things his own way.
Wayne took to his Twitter account in the wee hours of Thursday morning to announce that he'll be releasing a free project soon.
"The Free Weezy Album...komin soon#FWA," Weezy tweeted. "Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album. #FWA."
On Monday, DJ Drama posted an Instagram shot of himself with Wayne and Mack Maine alongside the caption, "Sorry For The Wait 2. Carter V. Dedication 6."
Weezy's announcement Thursday comes after he already filed a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money, wanting a multi-million dollar advance and part ownership of all Young Money recordings. Last month, Weezy released his Sorry for the Wait 2 mixtape.
