Model Sally Ferreira Sues 50 Cent for Defamation
50 Cent is being sued. Sally Ferreira, a Queens-born model, filed an $11 million defamation of character lawsuit against Curtis for allegedly posting a picture of her on social media with the caption, "WARNING: Do not attempt to work with this thirsty video b---h."
Ferreira claims the photo, which has since been deleted, was taken behind the scenes on the set of his video "Big Rich Town" in March. A third party shared it online, and media sites picked up the pic, falsely linking them as a couple. 50 apparently thought she leaked the photos and his response to the whole ordeal, she said, not only humiliated her in front of his millions of followers, but also blacklisted her in an industry where her rep was growing from appearances in videos for Kanye West, Keyshia Cole, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and G-Unit's Lloyd Banks.
"Without undertaking any investigation whatsoever, Mr. Jackson falsely accused Ms. Ferreira," the lawsuit says, citing three projects in particular that were "put on hold" as a direct result of Fif's post. What's more, Fif knew she was in a relationship of nine years, so he shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. Instead, the suit continues, he caused Ferreira "severe emotional distress."
Fif and his team have yet to respond for comment about the suit.
