Al Roker and his wife, Deborah Roberts, are ringing in 28 years of marriage.

The revered Today weatherman and the ABC News journalist took to Instagram to celebrate their lasting love, including throwback memories from their early days and more recent times with their loved ones, as reported by Entertainment Tonight.

Roker began his tribute with a still of them on their wedding day in September 1995. In the photo, the meteorologist is decked out in a classic black tuxedo with a matching bow tie, while his beautiful wife holds a charming bouquet while donning a white halter-neck gown. This candid moment captured the newly pronounced husband and wife gleaming with joy. He also included the special moment when Roberts fed him a piece of their wedding cake.

Another image within his carousel features the family taking a fun holiday photo in matching green pajamas.

“28 years ago, @debrobertsabc promised to be there for better, for worse, thick and thin. Good times and Bad. But the greatest gift is the family she has given me. Happy Anniversary, sweetheart,” he wrote in the caption.

Roberts' post also included sweet times of their nearly 30-year romance, including a fun moment in an apple orchard.

“Wow! It’s been 28 years. Beginning with a few jitters, great excitement and hearts brimming with hope, we embarked on this journey. And it has been one great adventure. This last year has taught us to cherish each moment. You are mine….I am yours. And where you are, I am too. Happy anniversary my dearest. Let’s keep making memories.”

During their marriage, Roker has suffered back-to-back health challenges, but Roberts has remained by his side. In November 2020, Roker revealed his battle with prostate cancer, and a month later, he was hospitalized to treat his diagnosis. After a successful surgery, Roker declared he was cancer-free.

Two years later, he was diagnosed with blood clots in his legs and lungs and spent Thanksgiving in the hospital. He was treated and released just in time for Christmas.

The couple shares three children: Leila, 24, Nicholas, 21, and Courtney, 35, from a previous relationship with Alex Bell. Courtney recently had a newborn baby girl, Sky, making her mom and dad first-time grandparents.
