The Game Disses 'Notorious' Biggie Film in Favor of Tupac Biopic
The Game’s been known to rep the West, and while the storied coastal beef period is largely over, he’s still holding his ground.
In an Instagram video posted by LT Hutton, the Compton rapper spoke about the forthcoming Tupac biopic and congratulated his friend, video director Benny Boom. After that, he let his inner bias loose.
“I’m proud of the homie Bennie Boom,” Game said before listing the names of others working on it. “Tupac movie is the real deal, s**t make that Biggie movie look like a cartoon.” Game then clarified that he means no disrespect to Notorious or who it depicts, however it was hard to understand what he said afterward.
The Tupac biopic is slated for a November release. Notorious, Biggie’s biopic, was released in 2009 and received mixed reviews. After the release of N.W.A’s biopic Straight Outta Compton, hip-hop fans have been clamoring in excitement for whatever story of their genre is next.
