Wendy Williams Finds Support in Blac Chyna Amidst Health Struggles: A Revealing Look in New Lifetime Documentary
In a first look at Wendy Williams' new Lifetime documentary, "Where Is Wendy Williams?" the talk show host is captured in a candid moment with Blac Chyna, as reported by PEOPLE. During their sit down, Chyna shares a sweet moment with Williams while showering her with love and support.
"You've always been like, honest with me, and put me in my place, in the most motherly, kind way," said Chyna, who sits next to Williams wearing a Gucci coat on a sofa.
Later in the doc, Williams –who suffers from lymphedema– has an emotional moment when she shows Chyna her feet. On Thursday, Williams' caretakers revealed that she was also diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023 that "have already presented significant hurdles in Wendy's life."
The unlikely bond between the women developed following Chyna's appearance on "The Wendy Williams Show" in 2020 to discuss her life and connection with the Kardashians, including her seven-year-old daughter Dream's father, Rob Kardashian.
After that interview, both TV personalities became friends and have supported each other throughout the highs and lows in each of their lives.
"That's why I love you so much, because even when I was going through my darkest times you never used that against me. That's how you know that the love is genuine and it's always going to be there," she tells Williams in the clip. "And I'm going to always be here for you, straight up. You can call my phone whenever. I'm so serious. And I think Imma be back and forth from New York so I'm be coming to see you more."
After Chyna's sentiments, Williams responded with a non sequitur, "My real name is Wendy Hunter. Yup. And I'm divorced. He's got no money."
"I love you," Chyna responded while appearing concerned for Williams, who said, "So do I."
The four-part documentary "Where Is Wendy Williams?" premieres Saturday at 8 p.m. on Lifetime.
