DMX Talks Starting Over, New Album and Reality Show \r \r

Rapper shares future plans following his July 13 jail release.

DMX has been locked up many times, 13 to be exact, but he claims that after his latest jail stint things will change. For starters he's actually planning to start out on the right foot when he's released from prison on July 13. "I realized that [change] is something that I want to do this time. Like the last few times I couldn't wait to get out and go have a drink," he told Vibe.com in an interview. "Like all my focus was on going to the club or things of that nature. Now, I'm in a frame of mind where I'm like 'right into the studio and get my grind on.'"

As previously reported, DMX is currently six months into a year-long sentence for violating his probation. The former Ruff Ryders rapper returned to prison in December 2010 after being charged with drug possession while on probation from a previous arrest for aggravated assault.

To pass the time on this bid X has been keeping up with his study of the Bible, but he revealed that he won't be releasing his intended gospel album just yet. Instead he'll rely on the promotion of a new project, Redemption of the Beast, to keep him busy. The LP already has 26 tracks finished and features production from Scott Storch, Swizz Beatz and Dame Grease. In addition, Sean Kingston, The LOX and Tyrese make appearances on the project.

The rapper also claims he's been offered a reality show deal focusing on him and his ten children.
