Katt Williams was released from custody on Thursday after being arrested, along with Suge Knight, for taking the camera of a female photographer. But the comedian isn't pleading the fifth when it comes to defending himself. 
Speaking to TMZ, Williams claims he and Knight were actually protecting Knight's five-year-old child from the photographer, who was attempting to take pictures and video of the minor. The comedian seemed to be implying the photographer's behavior was inappropriate. When the paparazzo refused to erase the footage, Williams and two of his companions went after her.
Williams faces seven years if convicted, while Knight could get life in prison.
