Diddy's Dirty Money: Mogul Tops Forbes List
Forbes magazine has released its annual list of hip hop's wealthiest artists and the unsinkable mogul has claimed the top spot. His net worth in 2010 was estimated at $475 million.
Diddy has enjoyed a surge in income largely due to his lucrative partnership with the Ciroc vodka company, of which he has become a well-known and tireless promoter.
Last year, Jay "Take what the Forbes figured and figure more" Z was No. 1 on the list; this year he comes in at No. 2. Maybe they forgot to account what he did with the raw.
Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Birdman round out the top five, but Diddy and Hov have a very comfortable lead in this particular assets arm race, with $325 million dollars separating numbers 2 and 3. The full list is below.
1. Diddy [$475 million]
2. Jay-Z [$450 million]
3. Dr. Dre [$125 million]
4. 50 Cent [$100 million]
5. Birdman [$100 million]
