Jonathan Majors to Speak Out for the First Time
,
After being found guilty in December of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, Jonathan Majors will be addressing the public for the first time.
ABC News anchor Linsey Davis will conduct the first interview with the former Marvel star, aged 34, scheduled for Monday. This interview will air on Disney-owned “Good Morning America,” featuring supplementary segments on GMA3.
The court's decision in Majors' case presented a nuanced outcome. He was found guilty on two counts: one for third-degree misdemeanor assault, involving reckless physical harm, and a second charge for second-degree harassment, categorized as a violation. Notably, he was acquitted of the charges related to intending harm in the third-degree assault and second-degree aggravated harassment.
The incident that turned his life upside down happened after a fight with his ex-girlfriend, Jabbari, happened on the streets of Manhattan last March. Majors has maintained his innocence, so hearing what he has to say on Monday will be interesting.
On the heels of the fight, Majors was dropped by his talent agency, and after the verdict, Disney removed him from the upcoming Kang the Conqueror movie.
