Kevin Durant Donates $1 Million to Oklahoma's Disaster Relief
Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has made a big monetary donation for relief in the recent tornado that devastated his home team's area.
Durant gave $1 million to the American Red Cross through his charity The Durant Family Foundation.
The Red Cross made the announcement of Durant's kind deed through Twitter on Tuesday.
"@KDTrey5 steps forward and gives $1mil matching gift to the ARC for disaster relief, text "REDCROSS" to 90999 for a $10 donation," wrote the organization.
Two dozen people were killed in the category 5 tornado that swept through Oklahoma City's Moore suburb on Monday.
