Kendrick Lamar Spilled His Heart Out To His 'Black Panther: The Album' Collaborators
Black Panther: The Album is getting some great reviews and most of that is thanks to Kendrick Lamar who, alongside TDE boss Anthony Tiffith, executive produced the album.
Now, K Dot’s speaking out about the project. In a rare personalized tweet, he thanked those involved and called the process “ideal.”
“Black Panther,” he tweeted. “Respect to all the artist/producers that allowed me to execute a sound for the soundtrack.
“The concept of producing and composing a project other than my own has always been ideal,” he continued. “I appreciate the experience love ones. Continue to be great.”
SZA, Travis Scott, Vince Staples, The Weeknd, ScHoolboy Q, Khalid, 2 Chainz, Future, and James Blake all made appearances on the LP.
As he mentioned, Black Panther: The Album was a different feat for Kendrick, who has previously released four solo studio albums of his own.
