Say what you want about the “About Damn Time” singer; Lizzo has definitely topped the charts with her music and style. She doesn’t simply dress to impress; she shakes things up. She is the poster woman for body positivity and self-love and refuses to let any negativity hold her back. 

This year she shook the fashion world by storm by launching Yitty, a shapewear brand to celebrate women of all body types. Through fashion and her music, she uses her platform to let women know that there is a seat for everybody at the table.

Here are some of her most fashionable looks of the year.

  • Ruling the Red Carpet

    If it’s one thing, Lizzo loves, it’s the glitz and glamor. The Grammy award-winning artist shut down the carpet in a custom luxurious Gucci dress that gave just the right amount of elegance, with a dramatic black feather trim.

  • Kicking It In Couture

    Lizzo attends the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28, 2022 in Newark, New Jersey.

    The Yitty founder understood the assignment, arriving on the red carpet in a gorgeous billowing navy blue gown. The Jean Paul Gaultier couture creation was the perfect addition to her already impressive style portfolio. As usual, she knows how to stir the pot and shake up the scene. 

  • Catsuit Upgrade

    No one can forget when Lizzo showed up at the Met Gala in her iconic Thom Browne attire. She embraced her inner goddess in the elaborate ensemble and looked like she belonged at the Royal palace.

    Lizzo recently attended the People’s Choice Awards in a dress by the legendary fashion house Alexander McQueen. Dripped in elegance and bold florals, she did what she does best, leaving the crowd in awe. And to finish off the look, she donned gold necklaces, earrings, and rings.

     At the Emmys this year, the singer won in more ways than one. She shut down the red carpet in an iconic red Giambattista Valli dress and walked away with an Emmy for her Prime Video series Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.
