K. Michelle Warns Women To Make Informed Decisions Before Getting Cosmetic Surgery
K.Michelle is warning women to make informed decisions before undergoing cosmetic surgery.
The R&B singer is promoting her new show, “My Killer Body,” which brings awareness to the harsh consequences of having surgery and helping women overcome cosmetic surgery trauma.
K.Michelle opened up about having health scares in 2017, five years after getting her butt injections by an unlicensed provider. She experienced migraines, fatigue, and leg pain before being told that the silicone was spreading to her legs. The following year she had four surgeries to get out as much of the silicone as possible and had additional removal surgeries in the next years.
She recently appeared on KTLA’s news segment, where she spoke on the woes of getting illegal injections. She explains that women are free to do what makes them feel their best. They should do their due diligence and stay away from illegal silicone injections.
The 39-year-old singer has since had reconstructive surgery to get a healthier version of the body she desires.
K.Michelle's "My Killer Body" will appear on the Lifetime network on January 28th.
