La La Anthony recently sat down with BET to talk about her favorite fashion accessories and what she'll put herself through to look as stylish as she does.
"I just love shoes!" she said. "I just love shopping for them, looking at them. I think a shoe can change the most ordinary outfit into something extraordinary. You can wear a white tee, jeans, and a great shoe and all of a sudden that's a perfect outfit, so shoes just have power. I've always been a shoe person."
And La La will be the first to admit that looking good can come at a price, but that's just the sacrifice she's willing to make in the name of fashion.
"Most of my shoes hurt and I'm not afraid to say it," she said. "Most of my shoes hurt. When people talk about comfort and you're dealing with the kinds of shoes that I wear, the height of them and stuff, it's very hard to find comfortable shoes. It's not about comfort, right?"
But the reality TV star does give her feet a break because after all, running behind her 5-year-old son in sky-high heels can't be easy. So she'll opt for sneakers, like her colorful Spike Lee Jordans, whenever she wants a laidback look that still makes a statement.
"Just to show people that you can mix it up and still look good. Everything doesn't have to be seven-inch heels. Sometimes you just want to look great but be chill at the same time," La La adds.
