Lauryn Hill Announces ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour’

The Grammy Award winner will be reuniting with the Fugees.

The legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill is hitting the road this fall to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her critically acclaimed “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.”

The 48-year-old  made the announcement on Tuesday (Aug 22), revealing that she’ll be bringing along The Fugees, made up of Wyclef Jean and Pras, on the U.S. stops. The trio last took the stage at the 2023  Roots Picnic in June when the “Ex-Factor” singer brought the fellow bandmates out for a surprise performance.

Two months before that, Pras—whose real name is Prakazrel Samuel Michel—was convicted on ten criminal counts linked to an international conspiracy that extended to the upper echelons of the US government. He’s currently facing up to two decades in prison, casting doubt on whether he will be in attendance.

The show, which currently has 17 dates, starts at the Mystic Lake in Minneapolis, Minn., on Sept. 8 and is set to wrap up in Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on Nov. 9. There are also stops in Australia and New Zealand. Reggae star Koffee will serve as the opener for those dates.

Hill’s debut solo album garnered widespread praise, earning her ten Grammy nominations during the 1999 ceremony. The songwriter ultimately won five, including “Album of the Year” and “Best R&B Album,” making her the first female artist to take home five wins in one night.
