Lil Snupe Murder Suspect Turns Himself In

Louisiana man surrenders to authorities.

The man suspected in the shooting death of Meek Mill protégé Lil Snupe turned himself in to authorities in Louisiana Tuesday (Jun. 25). Winnfield Chief of Police Johnny Ray Carpenter confirmed that Tony Holden surrendered without incident at 10:15 a.m. He was booked into the local city jail on first degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm.
No bond amount has been set and it is unknown if he has an attorney.
Holden, 36, allegedly killed Snupe, birth name Addarren Ross, during an argument that broke out over a video game. He reportedly shot the teen twice in the chest and has a previous criminal record filled with offenses like drug possession, forcible rape, second-degree kidnapping and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
18-year-old Snupe was newly signed to Meek's Dreamchaser record label, but had trouble detaching from the street life. "The streets killed my Lil n---a Snupe," Meek tweeted last week. "I always told him don't try 2 keep it real wit the streets.... Bcuz they won't keep it real wit you."
Since the fatal incident, the Philly native paid tribute to his slain comrade in a new song he's already calling some of his "best work."
Funeral arrangements for Snupe are set for Saturday (June 29) at the Jonesboro-Hodge High School Auditorium at 11 a.m.
