Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom Are Still Married
This is a surprise, Khloé Kardashian and the currently hospitalized Lamar Odom are still legally married. People reports that while they both signed divorce papers back in July, a judgment has not been entered into court just yet.
The reality star and the two-time NBA champion tied the knot in a televised E! special in September 2009. Their marriage reportedly began to fall apart after a highly publicized cheating scandal and drug relapse involving Odom, causing Kardashian to file for divorce later that year. The process was put on hold, however, when the athlete refused to sign the papers, forcing a judge to threaten to dismiss the petition all together.
Despite their strained relationship, Khloé remains adamant that she has tried to stay in touch with Lamar all this time. "Lamar and I loved each other deeply, and I don't believe in just acting like that relationship never existed," she said in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "Things, happened, but that doesn't just stop me from caring about him or loving him."
The reality star is said to currently be by her husband's side as he fights for his life and she is making the medical decisions.
