Chaka Khan Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
The legendary soul singer gets prestigious Tinsel Town honor.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored Grammy Award-winning singer Chaka Khan at a Hollywood Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony on Thursday [May 19].
According to BBC News, the singer-songwriter and former frontwoman for the 1970s funk band Rufus was joined by longtime friend Stevie Wonder, music executive Benny Medina and her mother.
Over the course of her more than 45 years in the business, Khan produced numerous tracks like "Sweet Thing," Ain't Nobody," "I'm Every Woman," "I Feel For You" and "Through the Fire" to name a few.
The 58 year-old music star is the 2,440th star to be awarded in the Recording category.
