Frank Ocean Cancels European Tour Dates
Frank Ocean has been touring all summer, celebrating the release of his first studio album, Channel Orange, but he's going to cut back on his demanding workload. The R&B star has decided to cancel his European tour dates, which included various festivals and as opening act for Coldplay. Ocean called the decision a “tough” one and he's feeling really bad about having to making the hard call.
"Let me start by saying I feel like an a--hole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the causalities of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour," he posted. "Sorry as f--k, I’ll be back if you’ll have me."
Just a day before releasing the message, Ocean ended his performance at Norway’s Oya Festival a bit early due to vocal issues. There hasn’t been a detailed explanation for why the singer cancelled his European performances; however, fans can still see him live in a host of shows stateside.
