Usher Goes Shirtless In New SKIMS Campaign
Usher's newest SKIMS campaign has everyone saying, "OMG."
2024 is shaping into one grand year for this ATL crooner. On Monday (Jan. 5), the newest campaign for SKIMS –co-created by Kim Kardashian– dropped that stars the "Love in this Club," hitmaker, as reported by Variety. The campaign will consist of the brand's existing collection, including SKIMS Stretch and SKIMS COTTON with new hues: Stone, Midnight Blue, Military, and Oxblood.
The campaign will also feature a limited-edition release of Usher's forthcoming album, "Coming Home," which will be available on the brand's website on Friday (Jan. 9).
According to the singer –who is gearing up to take center stage at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show on Sunday (Feb. 11) – this collaboration meshes his camaraderie with Kardashian and their shared sense of enterprise.
“When I was asked to partner with Skims Mens, I was so humbled,” Usher said in a statement. “Kim’s been a longtime friend of mine who’s always been so supportive of my work, so the opportunity to collaborate together on a campaign that supports both of our highly anticipated launches made total sense.”
“Launching this campaign ahead of multiple career milestones feels like a full circle moment, with Skims supporting the release of my new album, ‘Coming Home,'” he added. “With the way that I move, being this comfortable in what you wear is essential. Skims is about embracing who you are, inside and out, and feeling empowered to express yourself authentically.”
