JT Announces ‘City Cinderella’ Documentary in Support of Debut Solo Project
Yesterday (July 11), JT announced a new documentary with the release of a trailer that gives fans an exclusive look into the journey of her debut solo project, City Cinderella.
In the clip, you see the Miami rapper throughout the years, from her prison release to rocking stages around the globe as a City Girls member. “The person you thought you knew – that shit was all a lie,” JT said in the video. “Everything that I been through, I just always overcome every obstacle. And I just had hoped, hoped, hoped that I get a second chance at music. This is a new chapter for me and I really, really, really wanna show the world who I am.”
The full documentary will air on JT’s YouTube channel on Wednesday (July 17), two days before the arrival of her highly anticipated mixtape.
The “OKAY” hitmaker recently announced that she will hit the road this summer with her “City Cinderella Tour.” The 21-date trek will kick off Aug. 20 in Kansas City’s Uptown Theater and includes stops at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, Washington, D.C.’s Howard Theatre, Union Transfer in Philadelphia, New York’s Palladium Times Square, Minglewood Hall in Memphis, Oklahoma City’s The Criterion and Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona.
