'House of Payne': Calvin’s Love Triangle and Curtis’ Feud Heat Up
In this week's "House of Payne" episode, things get complicated for Calvin. With Laura out of town, Miranda stops by his place to care for their son, Christian, who’s been under the weather. After putting Christian to bed, the two settle in on the couch with a couple of glasses of wine, reminiscing about their early days as newlyweds. Things get a little too sentimental when Calvin recalls his promise to love Miranda “forever and ever.” Sensing the moment’s tension, Miranda decides it’s time to leave. Christian will be fine—and their cozy trip down memory lane? It’s probably best to cut it short before emotions get messy.
Meanwhile, Curtis and Floyd are still feuding over their business deal. CJ and Janine try to intervene by tricking them into meeting, hoping to repair the rift. But the plan backfires. The two old friends do nothing but argue, throwing blame and accusations over who owes who money. When Curtis and Floyd realize they’ve been deceived, they’re even more annoyed—especially since the business partnership remains broken. The question is: Can these two ever find their way back to friendship?
Later, Calvin drops a bombshell on CJ, confessing that he’s still in love with Miranda. But there’s a twist—he’s also in love with Laura. CJ doesn’t sugarcoat his advice: Calvin needs to get his feelings sorted before the wedding with Laura. The conversation, however, takes an unexpected turn when Junior, eavesdropping from the next room, overhears everything.
Back at home, Junior confronts Calvin, angry that his dad is “playing two women.” The tension escalates quickly, with both of them shouting—Junior, frustrated that Calvin isn't being honest, and Calvin, furious that his son isn’t staying in a child’s place. Things get so heated that the police show up, responding to a domestic disturbance call. And just like that, the episode leaves us with a cliffhanger—will Calvin get his act together, and what will happen with the love triangle? We’ll have to wait until next time to find out.
