There's always that kid in high school who seems good at everything. At John Harris High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, that kid was Asher Potts. He was a model student, earning a 4.16 GPA, and was part of the ROTC program and the Navel Sea Cadet Program. Potts was even given an award from the state’s representative for his model behavior.

Well, turns out Potts isn't a superstar senior a few years from the legal drinking age, but 23-year-old Artur Samarin, a Ukranian immigrant who created a new, juvenile identity in order to evade deportation after his visa expired. Samarin was arrested last week and is being charged with identity theft and tampering with public records charges by Pennsylvania law enforcement, ABC 27 News reports.

Samarin created a false identity when his visa to stay in the United States had expired. According to US Weekly, he enrolled in the Pennsylvania high school in 2012 and was both a model student and a popular one:

Police began investigating Samarin after receiving a tip about the man’s true identity. Law enforcement is still trying to find out how Samarin was able to pose as a student for so long.
