Fans Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Notorious B.I.G.'s 'Life After Death'

It's a classic.

As we continue to celebrate the legacy of the Notorious B.I.G. with our I Talked to Biggie series, in conjunction with the 20th anniversary following iconic rapper's untimely passing, another milestone has arrived that we absolutely can't forget about.

Two decades ago today (March 25), Biggie's final album was released, two weeks after his death. The double disc record features some of the rapper's most celebrated singles, such as "Hypnotize, "Mo Money Mo Problems" and "Sky's the Limit."

Life After Death was released via Bad Boy Records in 1997 and went on to be nominated for three Grammy Awards in 1998 including Best Rap Album, Best Rap Solo Performance (for "Hypnotize" and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group (for "Mo Money Mo Problems" featuring Diddy and Mase).

The project continues to be held in high regard, with many considering it as one of the most integral albums necessary to complete any hip-hop fan's music collection.

Take a look at how fans are revisiting the classic album 20 years later in the posts below.
