Betrayals, Secrets, and Stabs (Literally): The Latest Drama on 'Tyler Perry’s Sistas'
Gary refuses to die—literally. This week's episode opens with Dr. Lee marveling at Gary’s miraculous recovery. Penelope interrupts, declaring herself Gary’s fiancée, much to Hudson’s confusion since he only knows about Andi. A tense exchange ensues, with Penelope ominously suggesting the world would be better off without Gary—hinting she might have stabbed him.
Meanwhile, Danni returns to therapy after her blow-up with Tony over the work initiative. Her therapist doesn’t hold back, reminding Danni there’s still a lot to unpack. Elsewhere, Sabrina helps Karen fine-tune her Roots to Riches business plan.
Back at the hospital, Andi visits Gary at his request. Hudson is as hostile as ever, earning himself a slap from Andi, who vows to have him fired. Penelope then appears, overhearing Andi call Gary “her man,” which only fuels Penelope’s anger. Andi tries to explain, but Penelope isn’t buying it.
Later, Fatima suggests to Zac that Hayden might’ve stabbed Gary, but Zac points out Andi or Penelope have far more motive. Neither knows Hayden discovered Gary’s fling with Tamara.
The real twist comes when Gary, now awake, denies knowing Penelope, leaving everyone wondering if it’s amnesia or an act. Penelope’s furious slap and dramatic exit (“This isn’t over!”) set the stage for more chaos. As Andi probes Dr. Lee for answers, Hudson silences him using his power of attorney.
The episode ends with Jordan confronting Penelope in her car, demanding to know if she went to the hospital to finish the job she started—the night she stabbed Gary. Could she be the culprit?
Stay tuned—if Gary’s survival taught us anything, it’s that nothing is ever as it seems.
