What Are LeBron And Dwyane Wade Meeting About?
Are LeBron James and Dwyane Wade plotting on an on-court reunion?
When TMZ Sports caught up with D. Wade and asked the three-time NBA champion if there's any chance that he'll join King James next year, Wade answered, "on the telephone, we text each other."
But when TMZ re-phrased the question, this time asking if there's a chance of him joining LeBron on the Cleveland Cavaliers for this upcoming 2017-18 NBA season, Wade sarcastically answered, "I'm gonna join him at dinner this week somewhere."
Take a look.
Hmm ... is that just a dinner between two BFFs, or are the baller besties plotting on rejoining forces on the court, either this season or for the following 2018-19 campaign?
Well, LeBron is set to become a free agent next summer and there have been rumors that he's interested in playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, so that could possibly be a destination for the two to reunite. But if Wade is gung-ho about joining LeBron in Cleveland this coming season, he'd need to negotiate a buyout with the Chicago Bulls. And such a scenario would hit Wade's bank account significantly.
So, if James and Wade are meeting about a possible on-court reunion, do you think we'll see it this season or the 2018-19 campaign? Or is it just a simple dinner?
