The Barbz Army can finally get some rest tonight after their leader, Nicki Minaj, made her first public appearance of 2018.

Lucky for them, they also have more than just a photo to confirm that the Queens-bred rap icon is still living her best life outside of the scrutinizing social media eye.

TMZ captured a quick clip of Nicki waving at thrilled fans at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont Hotel. She was reportedly attending an Oscar’s after-party hosted by her close industry friends and power coupledom Beyoncé and Jay-Z. From the video, it isn’t clear whether she was leaving or arriving at the festivities as Nicki’s security squad surrounds her.

The Pinkprint raptress hasn’t missed much since her internet hiatus that started at the end of 2017. Amazingly, she’s still managed to become a hot topic for interviews and Instagram alike while remaining silent as she’s reportedly honed in on the studio to focus on her next album.

Either way, we’re happy to see the head Barb in greater spirits and even greater company while she takes some time to herself.
