On A Roll! Geoffrey Owens Lands Another Gig On A Major Television Show
The hero actor is in high demand.
Good news just keeps on rolling in for former Cosby Show actor Geoffrey Owens.
Days after being ridiculed by Fox News for working as a crew member at Trader Joe's, the veteran actor has landed another major acting opportunity.
Owens will reportedly be returning to the small screen as a castmember on the hit CBS series NCIS: New Orleans. According to TMZ, Owens will play "Commander Adams, an old and valued friend of lead character Dwayne Pride."
This isn't the first huge opportunity the Yale alum received after his viral photo debacle. Owens recently accepted a 10-episode acting role on one of Tyler Perry's OWN network series. Inspired by Owens, rapper Nicki Minaj revealed her plans to donate $25,000 to Owens.
What an amazing comeback story!
