An Uber Driver Was Shot Seven Times By A Passenger Who's Still At Large
26-year-old Jeffrey Cisnero Camacho is in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
An Uber driver is in critical condition after being shot seven times by a passenger he picked up early Saturday (March 17).
According to the New York Post, 26-year-old Jeffrey Cisnero Camacho hailed a fare in The Bronx at around 12:45 a.m. After they reached the passenger’s destination on Morrison Avenue near East 172nd Street, the male suspect pulled out a gun and stuck-up the driver.
Police say the man subsequently unloaded on Camacho before running off with the driver’s wallet, which reportedly only contained $23 in cash.
First responders rushed Camacho to Jacobi Medical Center where he’s been listed in critical but stable condition. The shooter is still on the loose.
