Doja Cat Debuts Huge Back Tattoo Of What Appears To Be A Bat Skeleton
Doja Cat is quite the educator when it comes to explaining the meaning of her tattoos. Her new back art is another example of just that.
A huge back tattoo of what appears to be a skeleton of a bat was debuted by the 27-year-old singer on Instagram.
Within the photos captured, the “Get Into It (Yuh)” singer included the meaning of the art piece:
“Bats often represent death in the sense of letting go of the old, and bringing in the new. They are symbols of transition, of imitation, and then the start of a new beginning.”
Just last month, Doja showed off a tattoo of mythological figure, Licenti. Fans accused her of selling her soul. According to Vibe Magazine, Doja responded to one fan who said she’s unfollowing her following the tattoo showing. “Used to love you but you clearly sold your soul to the devil. Unfollow,” Doja replied, “Whatever helps u sleep at night.”
Doja went on to post on IG the meaning of the tattoo and captioned the post, “your fear is not my problem.”
The explanation offers context, stating that Licenti was not a “demonic” figure, but rather a symbol of “imperfection.”
