The London grime MC is having his moment over in the States.

This year, Skepta’s “Shutdown” has gotten a lot of recognition from Kanye West and Drake, which has catapulted his popularity and helped put grime back on the map. Today, his massive single gets a remix from an unlikely collaborator: Idris Elba. The UK-bred actor initially shouted Skepta out in March, saying he should be on the remix because he shuts down “primetime television on the regular.”

On the remix, Elba puts forth a lot of energy into the infectious beat, declaring that he’s slapping the faces of haters and more.

The original version of “Shutdown” will appear on Skepta's forthcoming album, #Konnichiwa.
