Tupac Collaborator Big Syke Passes Away at 48
Sadly, another creative talent has left us too soon this year.
As reported, Tyruss Himes, better known by his moniker, Big Syke, has passed away. The rapper, reputed for being a longtime collaborator and friend of Tupac's, was found dead in his home in Hawthorne, California, late Monday night (Dec. 5). He was 48.
According to the report, no foul play is suspected with a source close to the situation telling TMZ that Big Syke is believed to have passed away due to natural causes. The 48-year-old reportedly had a history have heart issues and obesity.
The rapper was a member of Tupac's Thug Life group, and can be heard dropping verses on some of the late icon's most popular songs, such as "All Eyez on Me," "Picture Me Rollin'" and "Check Out Time."
