‘Queer Eye’ Star Karamo Brown Is Catching Heat For Defending A Trump Administration Official
Queer Eye and former The Real World star Karamo Brown has made some questionable remarks regarding politicians in the past. However, his most recent seems to have bothered the internet the most.
It was recently announced that Brown will be competing in the popular celebrity dancing reality series Dancing With the Stars alongside infamous former White House press secretary Sean Spicer.
While the network's choice to cast Spicer in the first place has raised a few eyebrows in general, it is Brown's glowing evaluation of his character that rubbed folks the wrong way.
During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Brown, who is the culture expert on the Netflix lifestyle makeover show, voiced his support for Spicer amidst the outrage over his casting.
"Sean Spicer and I have been talking," he said. "I was most excited to meet him. The thing is, people would look at us and think we're polar opposites, but I'm a big believer that if you can talk with someone and meet in the middle, [you can] learn about each other and help each other both grow. And so we have been chatting all day today, like he's a good guy, a really sweet guy."

Once the video began making its rounds, Twitter took aim at Brown and made it known that they were not here for his efforts to have "respectful conversations" with Trump's former colleague.
