Rick Ross Invests in Wingstop \r
Rick Ross is officially a chicken man. The rapper has recently announced that he's venturing into the fast food business.
"Invest," Ross tweeted yesterday. Then today, news of Rick Ross' investment in the Wingstop franchise broke on allhiphop.com. "After tasting Wingstop's signature lemon pepper–flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments,” said Ross.
This wasn't the first time that Ross had sung the praises of the Wingstop product. He previously mentioned the brand on his hit record "MC Hammer." The menu focuses on cooked-to-order chicken.
"[Rick Ross] is a talented artist and brings a huge fan base to the concept. We look forward to growing the brand with him in Memphis," says Wingstop CEO Jim Flynn.
Ross joins a number of other celebs, including NFL player Troy Aikman, to invest in Wingstop.
