Kerry Washington is married! The Scandal star and BET Awards Best Actress winner tied the knot with San Francisco 49ers player Nnambi Asomugha in Idaho last month, People.com reports. 
The super-secret ceremony, held on June 24 in the town of Hailey, Idaho, was witnessed by Washington's parents according to the marriage license. It's the first marriage for Washington, who was previously engaged to actor David Moscow before that relationship ended in 2007.
Washington and Asomugha reportedly began dating last year, but the actress has never confirmed the relationship. "Kerry genuinely keeps her private life super private," an ABC source told People of the news. "This is a shock to everybody."
While Washington has kept quiet about her dating life in recent years, she did tell People in 2007, "I was always that girl who was in long-term relationships, and I was never really single. I had always met guys in other ways and never really did the whole dating scene where you go out on multiple dates with different guys." 

She added, "I am totally the girl who gets introduced to someone through a mutual friend at a dinner party, falls in love and then is with them for like two years."
