It’s really discouraging to hear that in this day and age people are still so obsessed over the color of someone’s skin. Even more so that some would go so far as to criticize someone over their partner’s race. The latest celeb being attacked is Romeo Miller, who’s been seen out and about with girlfriend Toneata Morgan, who is white. During a recent appearance on the Meredith Vieira Show, Miller opened up about his thoughts on those critics and why the color of a woman’s skin is of no matter to him.

“It’s crazy to think that in 2015, when I start posting pictures of me and my girl — obviously I’m Black, she’s white. I didn’t think that would be a problem," Miller said.
The typically private rapper has been head-over-heels in love with Morgan and has been sharing pictures of the two lovebirds on Instagram. Too bad fans took this as permission to come at him with some real crazy talk for dating a white woman instead of someone who is Black.

"A lot of hate mail and hate comments was on there. They’re like, ‘Why are you with this girl?’ ‘She’s only with you because of this.’ It’s sad because honestly if anybody knows me, all the girls I’ve dated, I’ve dated girls who’ve been as Black as Akon and white as Casper. It don’t matter. It’s all about the heart. In this time and place, she’s the one who captured my heart. She could be blue, green or yellow and it would have been her.”

Morgan is a college student and beauty queen who landed fourth place in the Miss California Teen USA 2015 Pageant. TMZ spotted the couple together back in January, and when asked if that was his "new blonde," Miller was quick to introduce her as his "beautiful girl" and kiss her in front of the cameras.
